Driver Introduction Service for the UK private Hire Trade

Taxi Facilitator works with licensed minicab operators across London and the wider UK to fill driver shifts. Many private hire companies have more bookings than drivers on the road, while many licensed drivers are stuck with one firm and not enough jobs. We sit in between: register with us once, and we pass your details to operators whose work fits your licensing authority, your vehicle, and the hours you want to drive.

We don't operate as an employer or a minicab firm ourselves—you remain self-employed and work directly with whichever operator we connect you to, on their standard terms. There's no charge to register, and no obligation to accept a match that isn't right for you.

What You Need to Register

These are the standard requirements minicab operators in our network ask for. Have these ready when you call.

• A current private hire driver licence (PCO licence from Transport for London, or the equivalent licence from your local council outside London)
• Full UK or EU driving licence, held for a minimum of 3 years
• Enhanced DBS check, valid and up to date
• Right to work in the UK
• You need a licensed and insured private hire vehicle, either your own or one from an operator.
• Working knowledge of your local area and main routes.

Requirements

Who Can Apply for PCO Driver Hire?

To keep our passengers safe and our service licensed, every driver must meet the following requirements before taking bookings:

• A valid PCO driver licence — a current TfL private hire driver licence and badge (or the equivalent licence from your local council outside London).
• A full UK or EU driving licence, held for a minimum of 3 years, with no serious recent endorsements.
• An enhanced DBS check, valid and up to date. (required for school run jobs)
• The right to work in the UK, with documents available to check.
• A PCO-licensed vehicle with hire-and-reward insurance and a valid MOT — or tell us if you don't yet have one and we'll discuss options.
• Local knowledge of Molesey, Hampton Court, Esher, Kingston and routes to the main London airports.
• A professional, friendly manner — many of our customers are families, business travellers and older passengers.

Vehicles We're Looking For

We need a mix of cars to cover every booking: comfortable saloons for everyday airport runs, estates for passengers with extra luggage or pets, 6 and 8 seater MPVs for families and groups, and executive cars for corporate clients. Mention your vehicle on the form so we can match you with the right work — and if you don't have your own vehicle yet, ask us about access to one.
